Base pay range

$90.00/hr - $100.00/hr

Duration: 6 + Month contract

Location: Remote – with 20% travel

About This Job:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with a strong background in the Life Sciences industry. The ideal candidate will have led a full end-to-end global SAP implementation project and have substantial experience in M&A scenarios, specifically in integrating newly acquired companies into an existing ECC environment. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of SAP projects, ensuring successful delivery, and leading cross-functional teams to meet business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

Lead and manage large-scale global SAP projects, ensuring successful end-to-end implementation from planning through to go-live and post-go-live support. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the SAP project team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Project Planning and Execution

Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines, while proactively addressing risks and issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Collaborate with senior leadership to define project scope, objectives, and overall project strategy. Implement best practices for SAP project management and continuous improvement within the organization.

SAP Integration and Technical Oversight

Oversee SAP integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions, specifically in integrating new companies into an existing SAP ECC environment. Ensure that all project deliverables comply with internal and external standards, as well as regulatory requirements specific to the Life Sciences industry.

Stakeholder Coordination and Communication

Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure all project requirements are clearly defined and met. Lead change management activities, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions during system integrations and upgrades.

Required Skills and Experience

10 - 15 years of Project Management SAP experience, managing global SAP projects, and M&A projects.

Experience managing Global SAP implementations, M&As, excellent documentation, communication skills with a collaborative approach providing readouts to senior leadership.

Ability to effectively collaborate with various groups like corporate finance, Change management, Global process owners, SAP-IT team, Infrastructure/networking, security, business operations, Global Analytics, SoX compliance, Global data and migration teams, Cloud partners, offshore partners.

High sense of urgency, complete deadlines mission critical projects.

Mitigate budget, timeline and scope.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Life Sciences experience would be a plus.
