Job description

Maintenance Engineer

Enniskillen

SEDA Talent are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join the team at a Multi-National FMCG business in Enniskillen.

This is a fantastic role where you will join the maintenance team to ensure that site machinery downtime is minimised. If you have an FMCG background and have experience with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic maintenance, this is an ideal role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for fixing electrical and mechanical faults on machinery within the factory
  2. Liaise with supervisors and line managers to maintain and repair machines
  3. Carry out planned preventative maintenance
  4. Install new machinery/equipment

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Time served Engineering apprenticeship in a manufacturing environment with a recognised qualification (NVQ level 3 or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  2. Must have sound electrical, mechanical and pneumatic knowledge
  3. Minimum 2 years' experience in a previous manufacturing maintenance role

Shifts:

  1. Days: 6am-6pm
  2. Nights: 6pm-6am

Shift Rotation:

  1. Week 1 Days - Mon / Tues / Fri / Sat / Sun (60hrs)
  2. Week 2 Days - Wed / Thurs (24hrs)
  3. Week 3 Nights - Mon / Tues / Fri / Sat / Sun (60hrs)
  4. Week 4 Nights - Wed / Thurs (24hrs)

This role requires an onsite presence and comes with a competitive salary & benefits package including shift allowance, pension, healthcare, and onsite parking.
