As the Sales Director for the EU region, you will be at the forefront of Yapily’s expansion across Europe. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team in a player/coach capacity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial technology landscape, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Location & Travel:
  • This position can be based remotely in Berlin or Amsterdam, or on-site in our London office.
  • The role requires regular travel within the EU to meet with clients and partners, as well as occasional travel to Yapily’s headquarters in London.
Requirements:
  • Revenue Growth: Drive the sales process from lead generation to closure, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to expand Yapily’s presence in Europe.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment of sales initiatives.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the EU to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the executive team, ensuring transparency and accountability in sales performance.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Experience in sales leadership, with a focus on financial technology, SaaS, or related industries. Several years in an early stage or scale up tech company is a plus.
  • Track Record: Proven success in driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, and building strategic partnerships.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of the Open Banking and financial technology landscape in Europe, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
