The Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Executive to support our UK sales team. Based at Casa Hotel, Chesterfield, this role will be essential in providing administrative support, ensuring data accuracy, conducting compliance checks, and assisting with process improvements. You will work closely with the Sales Operations Manager to enhance efficiency across both on-trade and off-trade sales channels.

This role requires close collaboration with the UK sales team, finance, IT, and compliance teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies. It offers excellent opportunities for career growth within sales operations, with potential progression to senior roles in sales support, operations, or business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative assistance to the UK sales team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Input and maintain accurate sales data in internal systems, ensuring consistency and reliability.
  • Support with compliance documentation and reporting across all sales channels.
  • Assist with order processing, customer queries, and internal requests from the sales team.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks in the off-trade and cash & carry sectors to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Audit sales team accounts in both on-trade and off-trade, identifying discrepancies and flagging any compliance concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and escalate any issues as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data input into Salesforce (experience beneficial but not essential).
  • Run reports and analyse data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the testing of new processes and systems, providing feedback and suggesting improvements.
  • Work with the Sales Operations Manager to implement process efficiencies and automation where possible.
  • Support internal teams in understanding and adopting new tools and procedures.
  • Provide temporary remote cover for vacant sales patches to ensure continuity in operations.
  • Support account management tasks during transitions or team changes.
  • Maintain communication with customers and stakeholders during coverage periods.
The person:
  • Strong administrative skills and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Previous experience in sales operations, administration or compliance preferred
  • Ability to audit and analyse sales data with a problem-solving mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM (preferred but not essential)
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the FMCG, retail or wholesale sectors is advantageous but not essential
