Description and requirements

We are looking for a Project Manager – Network Solutions to join our building services team in London. This role is to professionally manage and organise the design, implementation and construction management of Integrated Network Infrastructure, Access Control, CCTV, Audio Visual, Fibre Optic, Satellite, PMS, Telecoms Packages on various projects, including procurement, installation, commissioning, compliance testing and final handover to the end client, delivering within budget and programme to the satisfaction of all engaged parties.

You’ll:

  • Represent the company at meetings, promote the correct company image and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve buildability and reduce whole life costs.
  • Ensure all design solutions (where applicable) offered by designers and sub-contractors fully comply with the project documentation and budget strategy.
  • Manage the trade contractors including the production of working drawings, procurement and performance on site.
  • Ensure good communications within the project and regularly brief other team members, providing regular written reports to monitor performance.

We are looking for:

  • Experience in the installation and integration of Structured Cabling Systems, with a knowledge of material specifications and industry working practices.
  • Solid experience and understanding of IP CCTV systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of telecommunications solutions.
  • Experience in forecasting and projecting budget costs through the project life cycle.
  • Experience and knowledge of industry-recognised Performance Testing and Commissioning.

Security Clearance

This role requires Cabinet Office security clearance. You should be aware that this has specific UK residency requirements of 5 years for SC or 10 years for DV; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and therefore would not be eligible to undertake the role. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
