Job Description:

We are working on an excellent opportunity for an Audit Analyst/Advisor to join the team at a leading accountancy firm on a permanent basis. In this role you will assist in the delivery of audit and accounting services. This role is based in Glasgow.


Skills/Experience:

  1. Experience working in an audit role
  2. A professional accountancy qualification – ACCA/ICAS or equivalent
  3. Newly qualified or part qualified considered
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  5. Excellent attention to detail
  6. Experience in Xero/Sage/Quickbooks is desirable
  7. Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients
  8. Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
  9. Strong organisational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the senior management team to deliver audit and accounting services.
  2. Responsible for the planning implementation and completion of a variety of audit clients and will be required to support other members of the audit team.
  3. Visiting client sites to oversee the Audit including supporting junior team members and being responsible for complex file areas.
  4. Plan and complete audit assignments and ensure that all audits have the appropriate and sufficient documentation to support the opinion and to document all conclusions reached.
  5. Preparation of statutory financial statements from client data.
  6. Assist with the development of more junior members within the team.
  7. Manage and develop client relationships.
