The Leonardo Cyber & Security Solutions Division, one of the three divisions in Leonardo UK, is a pivotal innovator, helping customers deliver and secure their digital transformation. Cyber & Security Solutions is at the forefront of supplying technology and services for both civil, defence and security markets, in both the UK and around the world, to enhance the capabilities of its Customers.

As a business apprentice in the Cyber division, you will spend time with a number of different departments within the business to experience, understand and contribute to the team’s goals and successes.

Primarily, you will work in one of our largest integrated project teams (IPTs) providing support directly through all the functions that support successful delivery of outcomes and delighting our customer.

You will be directly involved with supporting the team and contribute to a number of key activities supporting:

• administration of project processes such as site access, health and safety compliance and project reporting
• management of the project plan against agreed budgets
• management of the delivery of contractual obligations
• effective procurement of goods and services and management of third parties providing them
• monitoring project performance through use of KPIs, and effectively communicating any areas of concern
• the correct use of tools such as SAP, application of processes and promotion of project management best practice
• adherence to project governance through all lifecycles of the project
• involvement with continuous improvement initiatives

Your experiences will provide an excellent foundation for further developing your career in any chosen area within the business.

Minimum Requirements:

2 x A Levels (Grade A* - C) one of which must be English, Maths or a Business subject OR An alternative Level 3 qualification, which must be in a business related subject

AND

GCSE (Grade 4 - 9 / Grade A* - C) in Maths and English

Proven knowledge through a qualification in a relevant subject such as business studies would be an advantage.

The starting salary for this role is £20,000
