Information Manager
Morrison North East
Aberdeen
An opportunity has arisen for an Information Manager to join the team at Morrison Construction.
Ideally, you will be based in or around Newmachar, Aberdeenshire and will have the opportunity to travel to sites in and around the North East Region.
What you will be doing:
The Information Manager will provide quality assurance to project teams and maintain an audit program for the region to improve the quality of our project delivery across Morrison North East.
You Will:
- Build and configure projects from the master template collaboratively with the project team to suit the client/contract requirements.
- Configure the project workflows, permissions, and containers.
- Fault find issues with Viewpoint CDE.
- Work with the design team to establish BIM requirements.
- Develop and manage sets of project information requirements.
- Work with project teams to establish best use operationally and commercially.
- Work with preconstruction and aftercare teams in maintaining the use of project structures using Viewpoint for Projects in the bid and post-construction phases.
- Recruit and manage the information management team.
- Provide systems training and support to the information management team.
- Provide project tailored training to client, design, and site teams.
- Provide user helpdesk style support for Field View and Viewpoint for Projects.
- Ensure all BMS/IM Procedures are adhered to.
About You:
- Extensive knowledge and experience of using Viewpoint for Projects at an operational level is essential.
- Experience in other cloud-based collaboration systems including Field View, Dalux.
- Must have advanced IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
- Knowledge and understanding of the document control process.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, client, subcontractor consultant facing role.
