MRICS Building Surveyor - South London / Surrey - Urgent requirement - home working - One L3 per day on average - £70-£90,000, plus bonus - Hiring in London and home counties - Associate Director or Director job title (non-managerial responsibilities).

Leading City-based independent Chartered Surveying practice established in 2014 has steadily grown their loyal team to around eighteen. Their working environment is supportive, flexible, and offers little in the way of micro-management.

• Basic Salary - £70,500 - £90,000
• No car allowance (worked into basic salary)
• Potential for bonus scheme
• 27 days holiday allowance
• Standard pension
• Fully expensed role including mileage allowance
• Full admin and IT support
• Full CPD support

• Mix of work to suit but will include building surveys, expert witness, dilapidations, and defect reports (depending on experience/preferences they can tailor to suit).
• High fee basis; their average fee for a building survey in London is £1,200+VAT.
• One building survey a day only; if it is a homebuyer, possibly two depending on your agreed workload.
• Can be home or office-based or hybrid to suit.
• Very low staff turnover due to what they see as a strong, collegiate and autonomous working environment well supported with administration and IT systems and ultimately strong earnings potential which is consistently delivered.
• They quote around 20 building surveys a day and workflow is constant, so very safe in terms of earning potential and job security.

They are looking for motivated and diligent surveyors who prioritize reporting standards, detail, and knowledge over volume.

All figures quoted above are approximate and there may be additional car allowance/bonus payments.
