About the role of a Utility Site Supervisor
Our client is looking to hire a Site Supervisor, who has prior, and relatively, good knowledge with utilities: Gas, Water, Electricity, and Communication Assets. Attention to detail will help you stand out as you will need to write documentation, such as: Documents for ITP's, RAMS, WPP's etc.
Responsibilities for a Utility Site Supervisor
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Writing documentation required for ITP's, RAMS, WPP's etc.
- Ensuring all health and safety practices are monitored, adhered to effectively, and implemented at all stages of the project.
- Documenting and recording a Daily Site diary that should include any changes, variations, site attendance, use of materials, and record of deliveries.
- Managing ITP's and ensuring they are agreed and completed accordingly.
- Management of Health and Safety on site.
- Managing staff, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
Requirements for a Utility Site Supervisor
A competent and standout Site Supervisor will be able to demonstrate:
- A clear history of dealing with utilities and knowledge of best practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of working towards construction contracts.
- Valid CSCS Gold or Black.
- SMSTS.
- First Aid Qualified.
- Ability to run a site with confidence.
