Your future duties and responsibilities
This is a growing area and an exciting time to be involved in location-based software development. With Geo becoming more and more important in modern life, you'll not only have the opportunity to make your mark in a rapidly expanding sector but also the opportunity to work on CGI's own IP in this space.

As a GIS Software Engineer at CGI, your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  1. Design, code, integrate, test and deploy software as part of an Agile team
  2. Identify and fix bugs within the codebase
  3. Demonstrate software solutions to clients or their representatives
  4. Engage with stakeholders within and across delivery team
  5. Mentor junior team members
  6. Play an active role in developing the geospatial proposition
