Job description

Telehealth Occupational Therapist

Spring Forward Family Centre is a paediatric allied health clinic. We are looking for registered health professionals to work from home full-time while practising their profession as occupational therapists.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete new client interviews and make assessment plans tailored to their needs (online, onsite, multiple departments)
  • Oversee and generate intervention plans for clients to complete at home, school or in the centre with the therapy assistants
  • Case manage all clients in the department, ensuring a clear, MDT 6-month intervention plan is developed in collaboration with the other case managers
  • Get client commitment, buy into plans, and schedule all appointments. Convert intakes into services
  • Run webinars and seminars online as required
  • Supervise and educate the therapy assistant team in their department
  • Run parent consultations and telehealth appointments with clients
  • Complete summary and comprehensive telehealth assessments
  • Complete all client reports (home programmes, progress reports, and assessment reports)
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • CPD training with PRC Certification to be qualified for telehealth
  • Good written and oral English
  • Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions
  • Stable internet connection, device with HD camera, and noise-cancelling headset
  • A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with certification in PH
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to take care of clients with different personalities
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
  • Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans

Schedule:

  • Dayshift and weekends off

Salary:

  • 1-2 years experience with kids: 40-42k/mo
  • 3-4 years experience with kids: 43-45k/mo
  • 5+ years experience with kids: up to P50k/mo
