English Teacher

Full-Time | Immediate Start | Potential for Permanent Role

Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to work in and around the Launceston area. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can engage and inspire students across KS3 and KS4, helping them develop strong literacy and analytical skills.

The Role:

  1. Deliver high-quality English lessons to students at KS3 and KS4
  2. Support students in preparing for GCSE English exams
  3. Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of learning needs and abilities
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
  5. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  2. Experience teaching English at secondary level
  3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students
  4. A passion for English literature and language, with a commitment to student achievement
  5. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
