JOB DETAILS:

Are you an experienced Site Engineer? Due to our client's continued success and growth, they have an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join their team. This role will be based in the East Midlands, predominantly Nottinghamshire. You will play a key role in their team, developing your skills and experience as a successful Site Engineer. While reporting to the Contracts Manager you will also benefit from the support and guidance of the wider team. The Role:

1. Involved in aspects of earthworks, drainage, foundations, and substructure works.
2. Ability to plan, schedule, and manage subcontractor operations.
3. Ability to accurately quantify materials and be able to order materials.
4. Effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programme deadlines are met.
5. Developing effective relationships and dealing with clients and subcontractors.
6. Working closely with all other team members to ensure that the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to on site.
7. Continually developing your knowledge in the industry, communicating, and implementing best practice guidance to line managers and relevant team members.
8. Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS), policies, and procedures.
9. To undertake any other duties as reasonably required.

The Person:

1. Must be able to use their own initiative, taking accountability and responsibility for a project from start to finish.
2. Deadline driven, instilling motivation in the team to hit key targets.

The Experience:

1. A degree in Construction Engineering and Management or equivalent.
2. 3+ year's previous experience.
3. Experience in adoptable drainage and roads.
4. Residential / Commercial experience desired.
5. Ability to use Autocad and Total Station.
6. IT skills including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
7. A full driving licence.
