Security Consultant – SC Cleared

An urgent opportunity has arisen for SC Cleared OT Security Consultants to support a high-profile government infrastructure project. This role requires expertise in Operational Technology (OT) security, with a focus on securing industrial control systems (ICS) and critical national infrastructure (CNI).

• Clearance: Active SC Clearance required
• Location: Remote
• Duration: 6 months

The Role:

As an OT Security Consultant, you will be responsible for securing Operational Technology (OT) environments, ensuring compliance with government and industry security frameworks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting risk assessments for industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and OT networks
• Developing and implementing security policies and standards for critical infrastructure
• Identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies for OT environments
• Ensuring compliance with NCSC guidelines, NIS Regulations, IEC 62443, and industry best practices
• Providing security guidance to stakeholders on OT security architecture and incident response

What You’ll Need:

• Active SC Clearance (essential)
• Experience securing OT, ICS, or SCADA environments
• Strong knowledge of NIS Regulations, IEC 62443, and other OT security standards
• Familiarity with network security, threat modelling, and risk assessment in OT environments
• Experience in public sector, critical infrastructure, or utilities projects
