Customer Service Desk Assistant - Camberley

Work Hours: 09:30 - 17:30
Salary: £13.63 per hour

This is a temporary role working through December. There is cover needed very often at the location and you will always be offered the work first; this role may even become longer term.

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Desk Assistant to join our team in Camberley. You will play a key role in supporting Performance Managers, interacting with Local Authority representatives, and managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To coordinate the monthly Retail Index figures
  2. To ensure that controllable costs are in line with budget
  3. To deal professionally with all customer questions and enquiries
  4. To develop an excellent relationship with retailers and be able to report on trading issues
  5. To work alongside all centre personnel to promote the brand values
  6. To review customer facilities to ensure centre standards are maintained
  7. Engage with Customers: Make every interaction count. A friendly and helpful demeanor builds trust and loyalty.
  8. Know the Centre Inside-Out: Your knowledge about the centre's offerings, events, and surroundings enhances your ability to assist.
  9. Collaborate with Retailers: Strong retailer relationships lead to better insights and smoother operations.
  10. Stay Updated on Events: Being aware of local events lets you keep customers informed and engaged.

Requirements:

  1. Previous administrative experience is essential
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  3. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  5. Customer Service: Aim for excellence in every interaction. Log and act on feedback to improve service quality
  6. Problem-Solving: Be proactive in addressing customer queries, resolving complaints, and identifying opportunities for improvement
