Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA - Brand New Repair Site!

Milton Keynes

Up to £45,000 OTE £60,000

BRAND NEW ELECTRIC VEHICLE REPAIR SITE!

• BRAND NEW SITE FOR RESPECTED ACCIDENT REPAIR GROUP
• Permanent position, 42.5 hours per week
• Two tier bonus system with Monthly performance related bonus

We are pleased to offer some brand-new career opportunities with a leading accident repair business for a brand new EV site which will be based in Milton Keynes, and due to open in Mid September.

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor, who ideally has hands-on experience or has achieved an awareness of Electric vehicle repair methods.

Job Details: Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA

• Working in a high tech EV environment, you will inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage sustained, assess the cost of repair and time scales.
• Experienced in identifying the correct prescribed repair method.
• To prepare computerised and manual estimates and to accurately record these, maintaining up-to-date records of all estimates.
• To obtain from insurance companies authority to proceed with repair to a vehicle and to confirm the cost of the repair.
• To communicate effectively with customers, engineers and technicians to ensure understanding of correct vehicle repair methodology.
• To ensure that any amendment to repair work is authorised by the insurance company.
• Once authorisation has been gained, to liaise with the body shop personnel and make sure that they understand fully the prescribed repair method.

Job Experience: Vehicle Damage Assessor

• Audatex experience is essential.
• Experience as a VDA / Vehicle Estimator, ideally with EV / Hybrid knowledge and practice.
• ATA qualification would be an advantage.
