We are looking to recruit a B6 podiatrist with a special interest in biomechanics or a B5 podiatrist who wants to progress in their career.
Do you want to work in one of the nation's areas of outstanding natural beauty, delivering care with the scenic Lake District Fells as your backdrop? The North Cumbria Podiatry Department has received outstanding achievement through the We Care Audit and has been awarded 'Best team supporting learning' and 'Best learning opportunities' with the trust.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and organisational skills, alongside a good sense of humour and team focus.
The Department has a good skill mix including advanced and specialist Podiatrists, Podiatry assistants, and administrative staff. Currently, we maintain high-risk, biomechanics, and nail surgery caseloads. As a specialist podiatrist, you will triage and treat a variety of podiatric problems and provide foot health education to patients and other stakeholders.
Opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in specialist areas are available through our close links with the multi-disciplinary diabetic foot team and North Cumbria MSK service.
If this sounds like your ideal role, we look forward to receiving your application.
