Non-Executive Director

Visit Jersey is the independent body responsible for the marketing and promotion of tourism to and within Jersey. Its vision is for a vibrant and sustainable visitor economy. We are seeking to appoint two, Jersey based, Non-Executive Directors from June and October 2025 respectively.

What you’ll do:

1. Provide independent oversight, strategic input, and challenge to the executive team
2. Leverage your expertise to support sustainable growth, market expansion, and operational excellence
3. Ensure effective governance and risk management
4. Mentor and empower leadership to achieve ambitious goals

What we’re looking for:

1. Proven leadership experience at board or executive level
2. Strong track record in Jersey’s hospitality industry, with an innovative and future focussed mindset
3. AND/OR
4. Expertise in finance and risk management is highly desirable

Requirements:

1. Attendance at board meetings, in Jersey, five times per year
2. Additional adhoc time for committee work will be required, up to 20 days per annum
3. A collaborative mindset — ready to challenge and inspire with integrity
