Charge Nurse ( RGN / RMN / RNLD ) – Nursing home in Ayr, Ayrshire- up to £53,000 per annum

• Salary: up to £53,000 per annum The actual rate of pay will be within these advertised bandings and will be dependent on your ability to demonstrate your competence during the interview.
• Hours: Full-time 44 hours per week
• Shifts: Days or Nights

Requirements:

• Valid and clear NMC pin registration number ( RGN / RMN / RNLD )
• Full eligibility to work and live in the UK
• Genuine passion for elderly care and a desire to make a difference

The role as a Charge Nurse ( RGN / RMN / RNLD ):
- Strong clinical skillset and confidence to lead the nursing team
- Prior management experience, or experience of leading a small team
- The ability of supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
- A desire to encourage positive working relationships within the team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC and compliance
- Passion about providing excellent care and supporting the residents and their families
