Cover Teacher Role:

• Support the teaching and learning process, ensuring continuity in lesson delivery
• Work with students who may have varied social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Foster positive relationships with students and staff alike
• Adapt to different classrooms and lesson plans with a flexible approach
• Encourage student development and be an approachable role model

Details for the Cover Teacher Role:

• Salary Scale: £31,650 to £43,607 annually
• Start Date: ASAP

Requirements for the Cover Teacher Role:

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and a proactive approach
• Strong desire to work in a variety of school settings, including SEN
• Ability to engage and communicate with students and colleagues effectively
• Have a verifiable work history and experience in education
• Be committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students

To work with GSL Education as a Cover Teacher, you should:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
