Quality Inspector | Cambridge | £16.50ph DOE

You’ll be an integral part of a well-structured, process-driven environment, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and safety of a wide range of mechanical components. Your work will involve methodical inspections, thorough defect identification and documentation, collaborating with engineering teams to implement data-driven corrective actions. Your role will be essential to maintaining the integrity of our client’s manufacturing process.

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be responsible for:


  1. Mid and Final inspection of mechanical components
  2. Using hand-held measuring equipment e.g. verniers, micrometres and thread gauges to measure to a high level of accuracy and precision
  3. Recommending necessary adjustments and changes to manufacturing processes
  4. Working from specifications and technical drawings
  5. General housekeeping duties

As the successful Quality Inspector, you’ll have:


  1. Prior experience using inspection equipment such as verniers and micrometres
  2. Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
  3. Ability to use computer systems
  4. Residence within sensible distance to our customer’s site
  5. Consistent work history and employers we can obtain references from
  6. A strong eye for detail and problem-solving skills
