Location: North Yorkshire

Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-4:30pm, Friday: 8:30am-4:00pm)

Are you an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge technology for deep-sea and subsea applications? Join a world leader in the design and manufacture of Work Class ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles), Observation Class ROVs, Trenchers, and Submarine Rescue Systems. What You'll Be Doing

  1. Lead and manage design projects from concept to completion.
  2. Develop and refine electrical and electronic systems for advanced ROV technology.
  3. Provide technical expertise and support across multiple engineering functions.
  4. Design PCB layouts, analogue & digital circuits, and perform prototyping.
  5. Generate high-quality engineering documentation including schematics and technical reports.
  6. Support sales and marketing teams with technical input on proposals.
  7. Deliver training and technical support to production and logistics teams.
  8. Assist in customer training and after-sales support.
  9. Stay ahead of industry developments and contribute to new product innovations.

What We're Looking For

  1. Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering design environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, PCB design, and communication protocols.
  4. Experience with power distribution, fibre optics, and motor drive systems.
  5. Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  7. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
  8. Offshore or ROV system design experience (desirable, but not essential).
