Job ref: RC5889ES

Amazing opportunity to join an industry leading provider of global insights based in Hertfordshire whose events bring together suppliers, retailers, and industry leaders to create impactful connections. The brilliant thing about this role is they will consider a range of event backgrounds, so if you are currently working in an agency and keen to make the move into in-house, then this is a great opportunity!

They are looking for an Event Manager to help them continue to deliver excellence and drive their mission forward. This role will see you play a pivotal role in the delivery of their audience engagement programmes. Your focus will be to ensure that every event exceeds expectations, creating a seamless experience for both delegates and partners. You will manage complex event logistics, drive operational excellence, and innovate new solutions to enhance the audience experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Management & Execution: Oversee the end-to-end operational delivery of high-quality, complex events, from operational planning and customer service to onsite delivery.
  • Project Management: Manage and execute small to larger scale events as part of a cross-functional project team across the UK, including large retailer partnership events and own brand content events - in-person, hybrid, and virtual.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.
  • Logistical Management: Oversee critical event elements such as venue sourcing, F&B management, production management, external supplier coordination, speaker management, and technical production.
  • Delegate Experience: Collaborate with the Delegate Engagement team to ensure first-class delegate experience across all event formats, utilizing innovative event technology and optimizing engagement at every touchpoint.
  • Brand Execution: Ensure the company brand is prominently showcased at flagship events, focusing on engaging formats and delivering market-leading insights.

They are looking for a solid event manager who is customer-focused with experience in delivering end-to-end conferences. You MUST have solid experience in managing high-quality complex production-focused events from planning to execution. Attention to detail is an absolute deal breaker; you must have this in abundance! Experience in delegate management platforms is also key.

Salary for this role is £40k - £45K with great benefits (including medical insurance, bonus, and good pension). They are based in Hertfordshire with a hybrid model of 2 days a week.

If you feel you tick these boxes and are keen to be a part of a really impactful organisation with a supportive and inclusive culture, then I would love to hear from you!
