Job description

Structural Engineer | County Antrim
Are you a Structural Engineer based outside Belfast and looking for an opportunity which would reduce travel into the city?

Our client is a locally run Structural Engineering consultancy working on a range of projects including bespoke housing, high-rise buildings and hotel schemes. In this role you will work alongside the founding director to deliver cost effective, buildable design solutions, working closely with architects, developers and building owners. Applicants at all levels from Graduate to Chartered Engineer are welcomed.

What you will need to succeed as a Structural Engineer

Junior Applicants

  1. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 1-year industry experience within structural design.
  2. Have begun working towards Chartership, preferably with the IStructE.
  3. Some experience in steel, concrete and masonry design with a good overview of relevant design codes.


Senior Applicants

  1. Chartered Engineer with 5+ years industry experience working in a Structural Engineering consultancy.
  2. A demonstrable track record of project delivery that meets the requirements of time, budget and quality.
  3. Excellent knowledge of all major design materials and relevant codes.
