The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading tier 1 and OEM supplier of Aerospace components who are seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to proactively identify and implement improvement within a manufacturing environment.

The business is an established manufacturing company who supply world class components to high value customers where you will have the opportunity to develop CI tools techniques and processes to address manufacturing issues relating to ergonomics, safety, quality and cost.

The day-to-day duties include:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction by identifying non value added activities
  • Support and facilitate Practical Problem Solving and root cause analysis
  • Plan, facilitate and execute continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Use lean tools and data to find ways to reduce cost and improve quality

What we are looking for:

  • Degree or HND qualification with experience working in an Aerospace environment
  • Strong understanding of lean principles, tools and techniques
  • Strong communicator at all levels
