TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a top 20 accountancy firm in London for a talented Audit Senior. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take responsibility for the delivery of high-quality services to clients, producing accurate work while supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client File Management: Ensure day-to-day client files and audits are completed accurately and on time, adhering to all requirements.
- Team Support: Provide guidance to junior team members, helping them with questions and queries to ensure their work meets the required standards.
- Client Deliverables: Deliver high-quality client work, ensuring full compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
- Documentation Management: Ensure client documentation is received promptly to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflow.
- Client Interaction: Handle client requests and queries professionally, promoting strong client relationships and loyalty.
- Time Management: Record own chargeable time and ensure all billable hours are recovered.
- Preparation of Client Paperwork: Prepare client documentation, including accounts, tax, PAYE, and VAT returns, within the allocated deadlines for timely submission to HMRC.
- Professional Representation: Represent the firm in a professional manner, ensuring appropriate appearance, conduct, and attitude at all times.
- Workload Management: Organise and plan your workload to ensure deadlines are met and work is ready for final sign-off.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: Working towards ACA or ACCA qualifications:
- ACA: Completed all certificate level exams and attempted Financial Accounting and Reporting and Audit and Assurance.
- ACCA: Completed all applied knowledge exams and attempted Financial Reporting and Audit and Assurance.
- (*To count as attempted, at least 35% is required for the Financial Accounting and Reporting and Audit and Assurance exams.)
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dependable and reliable team player with a professional manner at all times.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Organisational skills with an ability to manage processes efficiently and minimise time spent on administration.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Personal Attributes:
- Organised, detail-oriented, adaptable, quality-focused, and deadline-driven.
- Committed and flexible, willing to support the team as needed.
