IT Project Manager – Global Law Firm

Are you an experienced IT Project Manager looking for your next challenge? Join a dynamic IT team at a leading global law firm and drive the implementation of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

The Role:

As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within the firm’s IT portfolio. Working closely with the IT Program Manager and key stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define project goals, scope, and success criteria.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans.
3. Coordinate and manage project tasks, resources, and timelines.
4. Proactively track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
5. Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring minimal disruption.
6. Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
7. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
8. Drive collaboration across IT and business functions, ensuring a consistent approach to project management.
9. Support project closure by capturing lessons learned and sharing best practices.

Requirements:

1. Strong full life-cycle project management experience using PRINCE2 & Agile methodologies.
2. Proven ability to manage multiple projects across different workstreams.
3. Experience working within a PMO structure, following standardised project management best practices.
4. Strong understanding of enterprise-wide solutions, applications, infrastructure, and system architecture.
5. Passion for emerging technologies and modern product management methodologies.
6. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with internal teams, business services functions, and external software/service providers.
7. Ability to work in cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams within a matrix project delivery structure.
8. Solid understanding of project budgeting, costing processes, and financial tracking.
