This fantastic and established Residential Children’s care provider is currently seeking a Children's Waking Night Support Worker to join them in their Barton Seagrave, Kettering based home NN15 postcode.

This brilliant home will support young people with Learning Disabilities & complex care. The primary goal of the staff team is to ensure that each child in their care receives the individualised therapeutic support and welcoming home environment that they need in order to thrive.

As a Children's Waking Night Support Worker, you will be a crucial part of the team, helping young people to develop their life skills and reach their personal goals.

• Specialised home working with children with Learning Disabilities
• 3x bedded brand new home
• Colourfully decorated home with an animal theme painted by hand by the manager of the home
• Home is tailored for younger children
• Full training is given for all new employees for the needs of the young people

• 42 hours per week
• Shift based role- 21:30 - 08:00
• Additional weekend/holiday shifts available for activities- usually 7x hour shifts

The successful applicant will have:

• A proven track record of working with young people in a residential setting
• The ability to motivate and inspire young people to reach their goals
• Knowledge of safeguarding and reporting procedures
• A compassionate and understanding attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• The aptitude to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Resilience and a positive outlook
• A good level of IT literacy
• Organisational & problem-solving skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Level 3 or 4 diploma in Residential Care (preferred)
• 1+ years working with young people in a residential setting (essential)
• Manual Driving License (essential)
