Job Title: Snr. Manager - Group Reporting

I’m currently working with a growing retail company looking for a Snr. Manager - Group Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of group accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the group accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for all entities within the company.
• Manage the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to senior management and other finance teams.
• Continuously review and improve internal controls and processes to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as required.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (from audit) with post-qualified experience managing a group accounting team. Furthermore, you must have a strong technical knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.
