Warehouse Operative

Our client is actively looking to recruit several Warehouse Operatives in the MK42 area. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, driven, and willing to widen their skills and broaden their experiences to progress in their career. You will be working on behalf of a well-known British supermarket!

Job Role / Duties:

1. Loading plastic trays onto a conveyor belt.
2. The trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers.
3. Unloading cages and trays from trailers and taking them to a baling machine, where the cardboard and plastic are then pressed into bales, which come out at the other end.
4. You must enjoy physical work as you will be on your feet throughout the shifts.

Typical working hours as a full-time Warehouse Operative:

Pre 12 weeks:

1. Day shift: 06:00am until 14:00pm | Night shift: 22:00pm until 6:00am.
2. Shifts are any 5 days out of 7.

Post 12 weeks:

1. 4 on 4 off shift pattern for both day and night shifts.
2. If you want to remain on an 8 hour shift pattern 5 days a week, you can!

Your pay rate as a full-time Warehouse Operative:

Pre 12 weeks:

1. Day shift: £12.31 including 2 x 15 minute paid breaks.
2. Night shift: £13.40 including 2 x 15 minute & 1 x 30 minute paid breaks.

If you want to remain on an 8 hour shift pattern 5 days a week, you can!

Post 12 weeks:

1. Day shift: £12.50 per hour for basic hours | £13 per hour overtime rate.
2. Night shift: £14 per hour for basic hours | £18 per hour for overtime rate.

Overtime hours are paid after 48 hours of work is completed in a week.
