Are you an experienced Automation Test Engineer looking to help spearhead the growth of a brand-new QA function?

We’re working with an Internationally renowned Software House in Manchester, whose software products support millions of customers and some of the biggest brands across the UK.

Due to the continued growth of their software function, they are looking to hire a Senior Automation Tester to help build out QA processes and implement Playwright automation across the business. As their Senior Test Engineer, you’ll have autonomy on how the QA function operates, implementing the best tools and tech for the job.

You’ll be a good fit for this if:

• Whilst this is a Senior role, you’ll be leading from the front with hands-on manual and automation testing.
• Proven experience in building automation testing frameworks from scratch using automation tools such as Playwright and Cypress, as well as coding in Typescript.
• Implementing best practices and QA processes, as well as exploring how automation can be used in the business.
• Supporting growth of QA across the business. They are heavily investing in QA, and see this as moving into a Test Lead role soon.
• Importantly… you’ll be able to problem solve on multiple projects whilst gaining great experience.
