Management Accountant
Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Our client is experiencing significant growth and is looking to expand their finance team with a skilled Management Accountant. This role is based at the company's head office in Knaresborough, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The company operates offices in London and the North East, with global development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review management information
2. Oversee month-end accounting, including posting journals, P&L, and balance sheet reconciliations
3. Assist with cashflow forecasts and budgeting
4. Monthly project development and capex reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
5. Review VAT returns and ensure compliance
6. Identify and implement process improvements and controls
7. Support tax advisers with corporation tax returns
8. Preparation of statutory accounts
9. Manage and support audit processes for group companies

What We're Looking For:

1. ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
2. Previous experience in an accounting role
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
5. Effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders
6. Highly organised
