Who are we?

Maison Estelle is a private members’ club set in a Grade I-listed Georgian townhouse on Grafton Street, Mayfair. A ‘hosted home’, bringing people together that have plenty to say and nothing to prove. A new school club (no rules), with old school values of personalised service and discretion.

As a Bar Manager, your primary function is to provide leadership, management, and oversee operations for the bar at Estelle. You will ensure the smooth operational running of the bar, ensuring the team delivers an excellent and memorable experience for our members. You should uphold the highest standards and ensure the member experience is always in line with Estelle standards.

As Bar Manager, you’ll:
• Manage the day-to-day operations and activities within the bar, ensuring the team delivers an exceptional hosted experience for our members.
• Provide direction to the bar team during service.
• Ensure the bar is set up and closed accurately and on time; cleaned, restocked, and all mise en place is prepared and ready on time.
• Oversee stock management, ensuring accurate ordering, rotation, and minimising wastage.
• Ensure that the reservations and CRM system is updated with members' individual preferences.
• Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs in line with health and safety requirements and budgets.
• Ensure the bar area, equipment, glassware, and overall presentation meet the highest standards.
• Proactively manage any member complaints, ensuring follow-ups so that our members and their guests leave happy with a positive lasting impression.
• Help to achieve budgeted beverage costs, sales, stock, labour costs, and profitability.
• Deliver all department control procedures to ensure the safe and responsible service of alcohol.
• Perform any other role as required.

Who we are looking for:
• A confident, hands-on leader with a passion for luxury hospitality.
• Experienced within a 5* hotel or high-end bar environment for 3+ years.
• A natural mentor, empowering and inspiring your team.
• Organised, detail-focused, and commercially astute.
• Dedicated to delivering world-class guest experiences.
