Position Description
Primary Purpose and Essential Functions:
The University of the Pacific, Benerd College seeks instructors to teach primarily in-person, and/or hybrid classes, part-time to students in Counseling and School Psychology Programs. Our current part-time faculty are drawn from regional expertise in teaching and leadership and offer our students a wealth of practitioner-based expertise.
Visiting Instructors/Lecturers/Assist Professors are part-time, non-tenure-track employees, contracted via mutually-signed offer letters, to teach specific classes during specific semesters. Faculty rank and title are contingent upon the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Hiring Range: AB736 rate (currently $2376) per # of units. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
