Senior Site Engineer

Experience Site Engineer - Cardiff

BIR is currently looking for a Senior Site Engineer to work for one of our well-established RC Frame & Groundworks contractors in Cardiff. This is an ongoing project to be completed in October 2025.

The successful candidate will be interviewed immediately.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out all QA inspections (pre-pour, post-pour checks) and keep appropriate documentation.
2. Co-ordinate with main contractor representatives regarding inspections.
3. Cube up concrete.
4. Ensure site engineers carry out works as per programme and site plan.
5. Ensure site engineers use the most up-to-date drawings (this to be verified on a day-to-day basis).
6. Maintain as-built records, RED line drawings, and QA documentation.
7. Assist site engineers and site team as necessary.

Requirements:

1. CSCS card is required.
2. Previously worked as a Senior Site Engineer/Senior Engineer/Project Engineer.
3. Experienced in RC work and Groundwork - minimum 6 years.
4. Must be familiar with method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
