Senior Geotechnical Engineer | GBP45,000 | Leeds
A new job has opened in the Leeds area. We are a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who work on a variety of exciting projects.
We are looking for a new Senior Geotechnical Engineer to help lead and develop the ground investigation team. You will be working on a variety of projects ranging from large infrastructure to residential.
Your role as the Senior Geotechnical Engineer will mean that you will be responsible for:
- Providing ground investigation reports
- Supervising site investigations
- Designing and specifying slope and earthworks developments
- Assessing geotechnical issues
- Liaising with clients
- Mentoring junior staff
Although you will be mentoring the junior staff, you will also receive training for your own professional skill set.
Essential requirements:
- You must hold a Geology or Civil degree (Preferably MSC)
- Have a relevant background
- Have experience in mentoring
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Live within a commutable distance from the Leeds office
- Have full working rights to work in the UK
