Opportunity at a Glance
ACAMS is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative with a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, specifically in business-to-consumer (B2C) environments, to focus on Africa and the Middle East. In this role, you will be responsible for selling [Company’s Products/Services] directly to consumers in Africa and Middle East countries. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, proactive, and has a strong ability to connect with a wide range of consumer demographics.
Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify potential customers in assigned markets through inbound and outbound calls, emails, social media, and other outreach methods.
- Sales Execution: Present and promote [Company’s Products/Services] to prospective consumers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions suitable for market demands.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with individual customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering brand loyalty.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Use CRM software to manage leads from assigned countries, track consumer interactions, and forecast sales opportunities.
- Negotiation & Closing: Prepare and deliver accurate product information, negotiate with customers, and close sales, keeping in mind the price sensitivity and purchasing behaviours of assigned markets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments (marketing, customer service, etc.) to align strategies and meet B2C sales goals in assigned markets.
- Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and economic conditions in assigned countries to identify new sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on B2C sales.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas in Africa and the Middle East or emerging consumer markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills tailored for diverse consumer audiences.
- Strong customer service skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred, but not required).
- Basic knowledge of AML, Sanction or Fraud space is a plus.
- Sales-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets in B2C environments.
- Ability to adapt to the purchasing behaviors and preferences of Africa and Middle East market consumers.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically, particularly in Africa and Middle East consumer markets.
- Self-motivation and high energy level.
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to market, sell, and communicate programs to a wide audience.
- General PC and Microsoft Office skills required. Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plus.
Languages:
- Fluent in French and English
- Arabic is a plus.
