We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in quantity surveying and estimating to utilise this experience in providing data analytic solutions to clients on major construction and infrastructure projects using tools such as PowerBi.

This role would be based in our Bristol office on a permanent basis, joining a team of experienced Consultants looking to provide innovative, novel solutions to clients.

In this team you will play a crucial part in delivering and monitoring Nuclear & Defence programmes which are the most technical and complex challenges facing the UK today, helping us leave a safer environment for future generations.

Your day to day could sometimes involve:

• Utilising construction knowledge to provide estimates and benchmarking reports to major infrastructure projects
• Applying tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation (including the use of business information tools)
• Identifying, collecting and migrating data to and from a range of systems.
• Managing, cleaning, abstracting and aggregating data alongside a range of analytical studies on that data.
• Manipulating and linking different data sets.
• Summarising and presenting data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users.

Who we're looking for:

• Experience within quantity surveying or estimating
• Comfortable working on major projects and the ambiguity that comes with this
• Experience within data analytics, data modelling, data visualisation is the key skills we are looking for.
• Experience with data tools such as PowerBi, Tableau, Qlik etc.
• Ideally HNC, HND or Degree qualified in Construction Management, Data Science, Engineering, IT, or similar disciplines.
