Base pay range

I am reaching out on behalf of my client, a leading London-based hedge fund dedicated to developing and deploying cutting-edge systematic trading strategies. The team is composed of world-class researchers, engineers, and portfolio managers, all working together to drive innovation in financial markets.

As they continue to expand, they are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager who brings proven, fully developed systematic trading strategies and is eager to leverage their robust infrastructure, capital, and research capabilities.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage your own systematic trading strategy within institutional-grade infrastructure.
• Optimize and refine existing models to enhance risk-adjusted returns.
• Collaborate with researchers, developers, and risk teams to scale and improve strategies.
• Monitor live performance, manage risk exposures, and adapt strategies to evolving market conditions.
• Leverage proprietary datasets and research tools to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven track record of running a profitable systematic trading strategy, with live P&L history.
• Experience in one or more asset classes: equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, crypto, or derivatives.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, R, or another relevant language.
• Background in quantitative research, machine learning, or statistical modelling.
• Deep understanding of market microstructure, signal generation, and execution optimization.
• Ability to manage risk, capital allocation, and portfolio constraints effectively.
