Sr. Strategic Account Manager, Amazon Publisher Cloud

Amazon Publisher Cloud is a game-changing new service that operates at the intersection of advertising, signal collaboration, and cloud services. Built on AWS Clean Rooms, APC is the first and only service enabling advertisers to activate more efficient campaigns, powered by exclusive signal collaboration between leading publishers and Amazon Ads. In this role, you will be a key contributor within an entrepreneurial team tackling some of the most exciting and complex opportunities in digital advertising.

We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join the Amazon Publisher Cloud team to help build industry-leading solutions for publishers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join Amazon’s quickly growing advertising business, own strategic relationships with large publishers, and drive strategy and adoption of our industry-leading publisher solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Manage product activation and overall customer experience for strategic web and streaming TV publishers.
  2. Employ a consultative, customer-obsessed, and long-term approach to build productive relationships with publishers.
  3. Successfully launch new publisher products and features, share publisher feedback, and guide program strategy.
  4. Analyze publisher signals and performance data and provide data-driven insights to improve our advertising programs.
  5. Train publishers on program tools and provide strategic guidance on Amazon Ads solutions.
  6. Define cross-functional processes and workflows that help deliver amazing customer experiences.
  7. Develop solutions to address key operational challenges, customer pain points, and sources of friction across teams.
  8. Translate publisher feedback into product requirements and collect market intelligence to help guide the overall direction of the program.
About the Team

Amazon Publisher Services helps digital publishers around the world build and grow thriving businesses. We provide services and advanced technologies to web, mobile app, and advanced TV publishers of all sizes, including many of comScore’s global top 100, to help them monetize their content with demand from multiple programmatic buyers. Our server-side header bidding solutions are fast and reliable across devices, handling billions of queries per day, delivering ads in milliseconds. The result is more profitable advertising for publishers and more relevant ads for customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
  • 6+ years of work experience in online advertising in account management, client services, or advertising operations roles.
  • At least 2 years of work experience leading partnerships with web or streaming TV publishers or advertisers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related fields.
  • Proficiency in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in a client-facing consultative role working with large, complex enterprise customers.
  • Experience managing large publishers and deep understanding of publisher challenges.
  • Knowledge of data clean rooms, publisher ad tech, and the programmatic advertising space.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, being comfortable with pulling reports, diving deep into the data, and analyzing trends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate across a broad range of technical and non-technical people.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues with Product Management and Engineering.
  • Customer-driven product thinking and ability to identify and prioritize product requests.
  • Team player with strong persuasion skills.
  • Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in French, Spanish, or German language.
