An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work within the LD CAMHS service in Durham and Darlington. There is an expectation that the successful applicant will work across both North and South Durham bases.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be expected to carry out clinical work as part of the multi-disciplinary team, providing specialist assessment to children and young people within the Learning Disabilities CAMHS service. You will provide clinical supervision to speech and language therapy staff and students and facilitate others within the team to develop competence by providing clinical leadership and specialist clinical advice on more complex cases.
