Senior Supply Chain Business Partner

Location: Gourock

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum

Type: Permanent

ARM are currently recruiting for a permanent Senior Supply Chain Business Partner. You will be required to deliver value to the Company through the creation, implementation, and delivery of effective Procurement and Supply Chain Strategies.

The Role:

• Management of department processes in line with company expectations, ensuring consultation with relevant process reviewers when adding, amending, deleting, and reviewing owned processes.
• Maintain market knowledge of areas of expenditure and assist in developing Supply Chain strategies that will underpin Company objectives.
• Formulate, negotiate, and manage a defined range of market areas to secure the best terms and conditions, and financial outcomes for the Company.
• Review transactional activity and deliver Procurement Strategies to address non-value add activities.
• Responsible for reviewing all relevant legislation, rules, processes, and procedures, recommending enhancements to deliver continuous improvement while ensuring compliance.
• Manage and develop a suite of KPIs and management reporting specific to your area of responsibility.

Requirements:

• Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
• Significant Procurement, Supply Chain, and Contract Management experience is essential.
• Experience of conducting major contract negotiations is essential.
• Experience of managing and leading Supply Chain professionals is essential.
• Working knowledge of the Supply Chain and Procurement and Contracting processes, including legislation, is essential.
