An established industry player is seeking a Product Development Senior Specialist to leverage expertise in Equity Derivatives. Are you interested in a role that will require you to use your product expertise within Equity Derivatives to help conceptualise and use innovative thought process to design and create a product vision aligned to business priorities? You will be expected to define and manage product development risk platform processes, scope product releases, identify new opportunities to address business priorities, incorporating regulatory and compliance requirements and investment tracking.
The Product Development Senior Specialist is responsible for activities related to the on-boarding of new products and/or features and functionality of products including developing business cases, requirements definition (BRDs), product enhancements innovation, feature and functionality definition based on market and industry research and trends and client needs from a risk platform lens as well as the continued buildout of the strategic risk platform.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant must have worked in a commercial environment where they have had hands-on experience working as part of a front-line platform role focused on Equity Derivatives. Whilst this role will work in close coordination with Technology, Business Management and Quantitative Analytics, it is unlikely the successful candidate will come from these positions, given knowledge of the platform and commercial awareness are essential elements of the role.
You will be a recognised technical authority for an area within the business providing subject matter expertise. It is essential that you have excellent communication and diplomacy skills which you will need to use daily to guide, influence and convince both colleagues in other areas as well as external customers, which if done well will have a significant impact through complex deliverables.
Your work impacts an entire area, which will in turn affect the overall performance and effectiveness of the global markets business.
