Great role available - Hybrid role - Part Workshop and Part Mobile - with a Van and fuel card!

Location: Workshop is near Tunbridge in Kent, so need to be within 1hr, mobile is covering all Kent and surrounding counties.

Salary: £40,000 pa Basic salary, plus overtime at 1.5, plus company van and fuel card (on mobile days you are paid door to door)

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 42.5hrs (07:00am - 16:30pm)

My client, a growing Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Company, is looking to employ an experienced Mobile LCV Technician / LCV Technician / Van Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Mobile Fleet Engineer / Service Van Technician for hybrid work. Some days you will be in the Workshop near Tunbridge and other days you will be mobile covering all Kent and surrounding counties.

Please note, this role comes with a van and a fuel card. This means you have free travel to work and back on the days you will go to the workshop. The days that you will be out on the road will be paid door to door.

The role will include:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing inspection and preparation for testing as required for all fleet vehicles (Fleet and LCV vehicles)
• Carrying out MOT Tests
• Undertaking regular safety inspections of Vans / LCV's in accordance with the statutory requirements.
• Inspecting vehicles to diagnose faults (mechanical/electrical/hydraulic) and repair as necessary.
• Completing all necessary records relating to the inspection, service and repair of all fleet items in accordance with statutory and administrative requirements.
• Liaising with colleagues, vehicle operatives, and managers to prioritise workload, organise replacement parts and/or specialist support when required.
• Providing out of hours repairs and breakdown cover as required by front line services.

Required for this role:

• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ qualified Vehicle Technician
• Proven experience of working on LCV / Vans
• Diagnostic experience is an advantage
• Full UK Driving Licence
