Qualifications

About The Role

The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and developing profitable sales of the Company’s portfolio and driving the growth of our premium spirits portfolio within Southern England, with a particular emphasis on prestige retailers in London and surrounding areas. The role requires a passionate and commercially astute individual to build strong relationships, secure new opportunities, and ensure the highest level of brand visibility and sales performance.

Main Responsibilities

  1. To manage existing business for the company in assigned accounts including:
  2. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key retailers and premium independent outlets within territory.
  3. Monitor performance against budgets and sales targets.
  4. Review and prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.
  5. Manage individual promotional budgets.
  6. Proactively identify new business opportunities and secure listings for our premium spirits portfolio, with a strong focus on our Scotch Malts, World Whisky, Rum and Vodka.
  7. Keep informed and implement UK Sales and Marketing strategies within territory by brand.
  8. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date market, commercial and customer records.
  9. Assist in specific project work regarding regional strategies to maintain relevancy across the portfolio.
  10. Collaborate with wider teams, such as Brand Education, to plan and execute educational tastings and masterclasses, with key retail partners.
  11. Work with channel marketing to execute trade marketing initiatives and activations to drive awareness and visibility.
  12. Monitor competitor activity, industry trends and consumer/customer insights to adapt strategies, and share feedback to the business.
  13. Manage and own your professional development in order to achieve your work objectives and your career and personal goals.

About You

Personal Attributes

  3. Good interpersonal, communication, & presentation skills
  4. Good influencing and negotiation skills
  5. PC proficient with particular emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Professional Requirements

  1. HND/HNC or equivalent, preferably in a business-related topic.
  2. Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
  3. Proven experience of working in a sales environment.
  4. Preferably experience in working with prestige retailers within the Wine and Spirits sector.
  5. A full, clean driving licence is required.
