IT Support Technician

Location: West Midlands

Role Overview:

New position reporting to IT Manager, providing on-site 1st and 2nd level IT support while helping transition more services in-house. Key focus on user support and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities as an IT Support Technician:
  1. Deliver hands-on IT support and hardware/software deployment
  2. Manage device lifecycle including PCs, mobile devices, and peripherals
  3. Maintain Active Directory (cloud and on-premise) and user administration
  4. Coordinate with external IT vendors
  5. Support IT projects and system improvements
  6. Maintain asset inventory and documentation
Required Skills:
  1. 2+ years IT support experience
  2. Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, and mobile device management
  3. Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, MFA, and Intune
  4. Network troubleshooting fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  5. Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing systems
  6. ITIL certification beneficial
