Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collate relevant information to prepare and raise fees, liaising with departments and managers to ensure accurate and complete billing.
- Consolidate and issue relevant accounts documentation to clients, using appropriate communication methods, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Electronic filing of relevant submissions, to the correct authorities within appropriate deadlines.
- Monitor and meet financial and departmental deadlines, prioritising workload using practice reports and liaising with managers and operational team.
- Respond to correspondence, e-mails and phone calls with clients and external agencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide general administrative support, including preparing and formatting reports, letters, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Monitor and manage calendar bookings, meetings and appointments for department.
- Update relevant practice software ensuring integrity of data.
- Support and assist with reception duties and other departmental admin when required.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy administrative role, preferably within an accountancy practice or similar professional services environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience or knowledge of Power Bi, preferable but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
