The Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process across various subjects. Working alongside experienced teachers, you will assist in creating an engaging and effective learning environment for students. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Classroom Support: Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and providing one-to-one or small group support for students who need additional help or extension activities. You will help reinforce lesson content and ensure that students remain engaged and focused.

  2. Supporting Student Progress: Monitoring student progress and helping them with their academic development. You will support students with varying abilities, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs and helping to boost their confidence.

  3. Classroom Management: Helping maintain an organized and positive classroom environment, ensuring that students follow instructions and stay on task. You may also assist with managing behaviour in a positive and proactive manner.

  4. Assisting with Marking and Feedback: Providing support with marking and offering feedback on student work, helping to track their progress and identifying areas where students may need further assistance.

  5. Helping with Extra-Curricular Activities: Depending on your interests, you may have the opportunity to support extra-curricular activities and school clubs, helping to enrich students' learning experiences beyond the classroom.



About You:
