Salary: £35,300 per annum + Benefits

What You’ll Be Doing

Commercial & Financial Support

• Business partnering withfinancial and non-financial stakeholders to drive performance.
• Attendingsite and client meetings, providing key financial insights.
• Deliveringproactive ad-hoc financial analysis to support commercial decision-making.
• Managingfinancial risks and opportunities within contracts and ongoing business performance.
• Ensuringbalance sheet integrity by identifying key risks and opportunities.

Performance & Reporting

• Preparingmonth-end reports, business reviews, budgets, and cash analysis.
• Trainingoperational teams to interpret and improve their financial performance.
• Conductingmonthly balance sheet reviews, escalating key risks and opportunities.
• Drivingworking capital improvements through timely, accurate billing and debt ledger management.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting byconsolidating reports, analyzing variances, and preparing senior-level presentations.
• Assisting withclient tenders, contract negotiations, and capital expenditure appraisals.
• Ensuring smoothcontract mobilisations, supporting operational teams with required financial actions.
• Upholding thehealth and safety of all colleagues and reporting any incidents via approved processes.

Leadership & Relationship Management

• Collaborating effectively within ahigh-performing finance team.
• Building strong relationships withinternal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting thedevelopment of junior team members and contributing to finance training programs.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Actively studying towardsCIMA (Strategic Level), ACCA (Strategic Professional Modules), or ACA.
• Strong experience inmanagement accounting, including accounting adjustments and commercial decision support.
• Analytical mindset withhigh attention to detail.
• Experience inbusiness partnering non-financial professionals, delivering clear financial insights.

Desirable:

• Ability toadapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Knowledge ofExcel Macros and VBA.
• Experience usingSAP and Cognos for financial reporting and analysis.
